Who We Are

AARP is a special interest organization promoting a wide variety of services for older and retired persons. AARP is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all as we age. Generally, AARP serves people who are 50 years and older.

The AARP Public Policy Institute, in collaboration with the Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University in Ohio, created the AARP Nursing Home COVID-19 Dashboard. The dashboard provides four-week snapshots of the virus’ infiltration into nursing homes and impact on nursing home residents and staff. The dashboard's goal is identifying specific areas of concern at national and state levels in a timely manner.
