The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program offers assistance as part of a coordinated linkage to other programs and services including child care, transportation, personal and career counseling, adult basic or college education, job training, and job placement assistance to move the family towards economic self-sufficiency.
The program serves public housing residents and Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) participants. When the health of the household signs an FSS participation contract, all adult family members are also eligible.
