Solutions That Empower People (STEP) is a private, nonprofit Community Action Agency that operates five main programs designed to assist low-income persons to break the cycle of poverty. Services are offered in Franklin and Patrick counties, primarily, with some services in the cities of Martinsville, Danville and Bedford, and Bedford and Pittsylvania counties.
One program of STEP, Senior Services, can help with transportation services, as well as home-delivered meals and congregate meals.
