Grace and Holy Trinity Church serves the hungry, homeless, food, and housing-insecure community of Richmond. Started by the women of the congregation as a Soup Kitchen in recent years we have expanded to a ministry of Healing, Hospitality, and Wholeness.
We strive to care for the whole person in body, mind, and spirit to the best of our ability. The program provides a well-balanced meal under the supervision of a Kitchen Coordinator; a clothing closet filled with donations from the parish, individuals, and community organizations coordinated by a Social Work Intern; and a healing service led by clergy.
Grace and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church offers a soup kitchen. The soup kitchen on Fridays at 12 noon serves a hot and nutritious meal to those who are hungry. Volunteers prepare and serve a meal to whoever shows up.
The Red Door Ministry includes a clothes closet (open on Fridays), and a service of prayers and healing on Friday at 12:30 p.m. (open to all), For information on any of these, visit our Red Door Ministry page.
