Sponsored Residential Services

Sponsored Residential Services of Central Virginia (SRSCV) is a professional residential provider agency that offers services to individuals and sponsors with a focus on a God-centered understanding of people. SRSCV provides individuals with intellectual disabilities a home with a caring family. Our contracted sponsors have experience in caring for individuals with multiple needs, such as physical, emotional/mental and medical. Each sponsor has gone through extensive training, background checks, and a home study. With the support of a caseworker, the sponsors provide a structured environment that is personalized to the individual’s needs.  Sponsors provide personal care, skills training, recreational activities, emotional and physical support, supervision, safety, and guidance. Monitoring of the individual and sponsor is completed by an experienced caseworker with multiple contacts each month. A personalized care plan is developed with goals and objectives in which the sponsor is responsible for implementing. SRSCV encourages family members of the individual to stay actively involved in the life of their loved one. Our goal is for each individual to live a happy, healthy and meaningful life.
