Goodwill Industries of the Valleys offers employment services to individuals living in Amherst County.  Programs include Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), Community Work Adjusted Training, Job Seeker Services, Computers in Technology raining, GoodCare Healthcare Training and more. 

SCSEP is a federal workforce program targeted to low income older workers. The program is administered by the U.S.. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration through grant agreements with organizations such as Goodwill. Through SCSEP, Goodwill provides part time employment and training in community service positions for individuals age 55 and up.  To qualify, an individual must be over age 55, low-income, currently unemployed and eligible to work in the United States.
