Who We Are

COPE offers a twenty-four hour hotline for individuals in a mental health or substance abuse crisis. Call 1-800-542-2673 if you are in the Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck area.



For psychiatric emergencies, call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for immediate assistance. Care is provided in the least restrictive environment possible and treats individuals with dignity and respect.



Individuals may receive services by phone or in person at designated locations throughout the 10 counties of the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. State-certified crisis counselors provide assistance in response to behavioral health emergencies. Our staff provides a range of direct behavioral health services and referrals for other assistance.
