The HOPES (Health Outreach Partnership of EVMS Students) Free Clinic is staffed by EVMS students, residents, and physicians. The purpose of HOPES is to serve uninsured citizens of Norfolk with long-term and specialty care.
Supervision by attending physician. The Clinic offers:
- primary care
- Spanish-speaking healthcare providers for primary care and pediatric appointments
- women's health appointments
- dermatology appointments
- ophthalmology appointments
- mental health appointments
- orthopedic appointments
- ear, nose, and throat appointments

Call the office to schedule an appointment. No walk-ins. HOPES is located in the first floor of the Norfolk Public Health Building at 830 Southampton Ave.
