Who We Are
Brookdale Harrisonburg's Reminiscence neighborhood provides "Pleasant Days" for people with Alzheimer's and related memory disorders. It is a separate and secured residential area designed to provide the security residents require while helping them live as independently as possible for as long as possible in a home-like setting.
Services include a dedicated manager with expertise in Alzheimer's care; 24-hour supervision by specially trained staff; validation and other interventions; a variety of leisure programs seven days a week; assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming; monthly wellness checks; assistance with medications; three meals served daily with snacks available; educational programs and referral services.
