Adult Day Care Center, Generations Adult Day Care Center, Haysi, Falls Mills

The Generations Adult Day Care Program is a program of AASC designed to provide relief for caregivers while giving participants the opportunity to interact socially. Generations integrates the wisdom and insight of the elderly with the energy and enthusiasm of the young.  Activities are designed to encourage mental and physical stimulation as participants' abilities allow.  Non-ambulatory residents welcomed. Provides a trained staff of nurses, personal care aides, activity director and volunteers coordinate with a wide range of activities. These activities include: current event discussions, music, art, games, crafts, gardening, and exercises designed for individual needs with periodic rest and relaxation times. Participants are provided a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks that are within their diet requirements. Generations Child Day Care is an inter-generational day care center providing time for children to spend with Adult Day Care participants.

AASC also operates an adult day care center in Haysi, Virginia and Falls Mills, Virginia.
