Who We Are

The Low Vision Center of Maryland treats many of the normal vision changes affecting seniors.  Eyes may find it harder to read small print, take longer to adjust from light to dark and be more sensitive to glare from sunlight.  The most common causes of vision loss in seniors include floaters; dry eyes; cataracts and glaucoma.

The offices of Dr Jacalyn R. Ely and Dr. Sanford Cohen offer comprehensive vision exams, early detection of eye disease, information about eye exercises, nutrition for your eyes and environmental protection.

Call about Bioptic telescopes for those with macular degeneration who drive.
