The goal of the Rockbridge Area Rental Assistance Office is to provide safe, sanitary, and affordable rental housing for low-income citizens in the Rockbridge County area through the administration of the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program in accordance with applicable regulations, schedules, and criteria as established by HUD and the Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA).
