Who We Are

The Jamestown 4-H Center is dedicated to the individual development of youth and adults through experiential learning, to promote their advancement of life skills, knowledge, and attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing and contributing members of society, socially and environmentally. 
Volunteer Educational Instructors are needed to teach youth ages 9 to 14 archery, marine science, forest ecology, environment issues, natural science, geology, orienteering, group initiatives, animal habitation, canoeing, and kayaking. Volunteers are also needed for our maintenance and horticulure to maintain buildings and grounds and planning and maintaining gardens and flowerbeds. Volunteers will be trained in all areas if needed.
