Who We Are
Iona's Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Adult Day Health, Wellness and Arts Center is for Seniors who want to continue living in the community but need daytime supervision and health monitoring. The Center also provides an opportunity for seniors with memory loss or physical impairments to interact socially with others in a safe and stimulating environment. Dementia participants can attend.
Facility provides respite for caregivers, companionship for seniors, and has a program for individuals with both physical and cognitive impairments. Social and recreational programs include TaiChi gentle exercise, music, art and pet therapy, and local outings. Licensed nurses administer medications, monitor blood pressure and maintain communication with physicians regarding client's progress. Individuals can come for as few as 2 days or as many as 5 days per week.
Some escorted transportation is available, and hot meals and snacks. Professional staff are experienced and caring, and will provide you with regular progress reports on your loved one. On staff are Counselors and Care Managers who are licensed social workers, a Nurse Practitioner, a consulting psychiatrist, and a clinical psychologist.
