Caseworkers at Northern Virginia Family Services provide individualized case management services to families and individuals who need assistance with meeting emergency needs. Services include:
- References to medical and dental services;
- Assistance in cases of emergency: food, clothes, rent and others;
- Orientation and help in cases of family domestic violence;
- Support in cases of crisis;
- Help to complete forms such as birth certificates, Medicaid/ and Medicare, Social Security, school documents, change and correction of names and others;
- Financial advice with hospital bills.
