Who We Are

Peaceful Choices is an adult anger management and domestic violence prevention program offered through Behavioral Health Services at the Center for Child and Family Services in Hampton.  It is an adult behavioral intervention program that has group specific topics that address preventing physical, sexual, property and psychological violence in the family and community, including shoplifting and solicitation behaviors.  Group members learn how to use nonviolent conflict resolution skills, how to express emotions respectfully and what to do with uncomfortable feelings. New coping skills are learned to aid in better decision making.

Therapy groups include, but are not limited to:

  • Substance Abuse Prevention,
  • PATTS, Court and Parent,
  • Men's Batterers Group,
  • Family Rules,
  • Dynamic Dads, Teen Dads, Dad's Club and Boot Camp for Dads,
  • Control Anger Now,
  • Women's  and Men's Domestic Violence Groups,
  • Intensive Parenting and Crossroads to Parenting.
