Assisted Living, Front Royal

Wood's Cove Assisted Living, formerly Royal Haven Assisted Living of Front Royal is licensed for 67 residents and is focused on providing care for individuals who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, or other types of dementia.  It is a single level building surrounding an inner courtyard with a gazebo. The facility also boasts a WanderGuard locking environment. Services are provided for adults who require assistance with at least two activities of daily living. This level of service includes individuals who require assistance because of significant behavior problems. Facilities licensed for the assisted living level of care also may provide care to residents who require only the residential level of care. Royal Haven also offers group and individual activities (based on acuity assessment), personal care, medication administration, housekeeping and personal laundry services. The primary focus is for residents who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease or dementia; however, the facility is able to care for all levels of needed assistance.
