Who We Are

The Nottoway County Health Department is part of the Piedmont Health District.  Its mission is to achieve and maintain optimum personal and community health for its residents by emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and environmental protection.  Most services are provided on a sliding fee scale based on income and include:

  • HIV/AIDS Testing
  • Immunizations
  • Pregnancy Tests
  • Sexually Transmitted Illnesses (STI) Testing and Treatment
  • Communicable Disease Control
  • Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition
