Pharmacists are available to answer questions on prescription and over the counter products, vitamins and supplements, diabetes care products and other health related issues.
Martin's pharmacies offer a year-round adult immunization program. Pharmacists are certified to administer many adult immunizations including influenza, pneumonia, hepatitis A and B, tetanus, meningitis, and a variety of travel vaccines.
Many pharmacists have participated in national training programs to educate and monitor patients on smoking cessation as well as diabetes, hyperlipidemia, asthma, hypertension and osteoporosis. Stock and cater to the needs of individuals with diabetes. Offer nutrition programs, shopping guides, videos and other information. Martin's Pharmacies feature generics that are FDA and Virginia Voluntary Fomulary approved.
Free blood pressure screenings are available at all times.
A Wellness Day is a schedule day of screenings held throughout Central Virginia in their Pharmacies. Martin's Pharmacists or professionals from local health organizations conduct the screenings.
