Who We Are

Alexandria City Health Department provides diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of contacts for communicable diseases like tuberculosis. Medications are charged on a sliding fee scale. 

The TB Clinic is for adults (19 years of age and older) and is by appointment only and there is a charge for this service. Children must attend  Immunization Clinic for this service.  

Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Clinic offers confidential sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment, HIV, Hepatitis B & C testing, Hepatitis B  and HPV, Hepatitis A & B immunizations for qualifying individuals and referrals. You do not have to live in Virginia to access these services.  Bring your health insurance information with you. If you do not have health insurance, you may be billed based on a sliding fee scale. No one will be turned away.
