Circle Center Adult Day Services, operating since 1976, is a licensed adult daycare center specializing in affordable and reliable care for older adults who are frail or functionally impaired. Specialized in Alzheimer's and other dementia, Parkinson's , stroke, hypertension, COPD, diabetes, and heart disease. Post-skilled nursing home care. Two meals and snacks. Family and caregiver support. Individualized and flexible care plans for each participant based on skills and abilities. Socialization with peers, and cognitive and physical activities all day.
The Center conveniently located near Willow Lawn Shopping Center, right off I-95, I-64 and I-195, Broad Street and Staples Mill Road.
Services Include:
- Educational seminars for caregivers.
- Personal Care Assistance with feeding, hygiene, and showers.
- Nutrition that includes breakfast, lunch, and two snacks with special diets available (tube feedings are accepted).
- Nursing services and coordination of care with families and physicians.
Security with door alarms and a building-wide sprinkler system.
Therapeutic activities include arts, crafts, discussion, entertainment, exercise, our MEMORY LANE Montessori-based activity program for dementia, gardening, games, participant support groups, reminiscent, and optional spiritual programs. Transportation coordination.
On-site therapy (OT, PT, and Speech). Some Spanish spoken.
Working and at-home caregivers benefit from respite from 24-hour caregiving responsibilities and gain peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are getting the care they need. Participants have an opportunity to get out of the house, socialize, and develop new friendships
The staff-to-participant ratio is 1 to 6 or better. Capacity is 130.
Staff includes two Registered Nurses, one Masters-level Gerontologists, a Masters-level Social Worker, three Licensed Occupational Therapists, a Certified Activity Director, four Certified Nursing Assistants, four Certified Adult Day Health Care Aides, several Activity Aides, and an Exercise and Nutrition Specialist.
