Personal Care Aide School ~ Goochland County

Senior Connections and VCU Gerontology present: Thelma Bland Watson Personal Care Aide School, a free 5-day course to receive your PCA Certification.  The course will be in Goochland County May 20th thru 24th 2024 from 11 am until 6 pm each day. To be eligible for this program a participant must be a resident of Goochland County and the family income must be at or below the Federal Poverty Level.  

Join the growing Healthcare Industry.  A Personal Care Aide is a professional caregiver responsible for helping people maintain their health, well-being, and hygiene by providing care in the home or preferred living environment. 

Choosing the career path to be a PCA is a way to use your passions in helping and caring for others meaningfully. PCAs truly make a difference in so many lives by giving care, hope, and comfort. 

This program gives you the skills you need to give excellent and compassionate care and supports you to help you succeed both personally and professionally.
