Assisted Living

The Virginia House is a privately owned residential assisted living home offering memory care to 3 adults with Alzheimer's or cognitive impairment.  Care ratio is 3 to 1.  The Virginia House offers an alternative to institutional memory care.

 Assistance with ADLs and IADLs is available, including assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, hygiene, walking, transferring, toileting, continence, and medication management.  Other services include housekeeping and, laundry service, salon services (additional fees may apply), preparation of meals, and snacks, gentle exercise and stretching, and more.  Services are customized to meet the individual's needs.  

Social programs and activities are offered, including field trips to local areas of interest, dependent on the resident's abilities.  Manual wheelchairs can be accommodated. 

Hospice care: Assisting families of residents with hospice coordination and management.
