Who We Are
Intercept’s Community Homes are therapeutic group homes for children and adolescents, ages 12-19, in need of a structured therapeutic environment due to behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs. Intercept provides separate homes for males and females, through the Commonwealth of Virginia Intercept Community Homes provide counseling, support, and supervision to youth who might ordinarily be served in residential settings. Community Homes work with a variety of psychiatric diagnoses and behavioral disorders, including sexually reactive behavior.
Residents receive life skills assessments, training, and transitional living plan development in anticipation of the return to the family.
