Who We Are
York County's Special Recreation Camp is a summer program designed to provide a variety of enjoyable recreational opportunities for youth with disabilities and/or special needs. The program fee includes fun activities, weekly themes, arts and crafts, special visitors, field trips, games and movies. Registration is limited.
Registration generally begins around mid-February. The camp has a maximum capacity of 25. The ratio is 1 staff member per 3 students in order to meet the special needs of the campers. Participants should bring a bag lunch and beverage every day. Attempts will be made to provide transportation for York County residents to site location.
This camp typically begins the week after public schools gets out and is a 4 week program.
