Who We Are
Ride-Away, d/b/a MobilityWorks, is a provider of modified vehicles and adaptive equipment for people with disabilities. These products are used by individuals with minor to profound disabilities requiring additional assistance while traveling and range from hand controls and lifts to raised door and lowered floor vehicle modifications.
The individual's needs are assessed, then a tailored presentation of equipment and options are given to determine the safest and most appropriate equipment to meet the needs and/or desires of an individual.
Equipment is demonstrated and explained to assure the individual's needs have been met. These products include scooters, wheelchairs (manual and power), wheelchair lifts, chair lifts for stairways, ramps, patient lifters, pool lifts, residential elevators, 6-way power seats, hi-tech driving systems, hospital beds, incontinence products, skin care products, bathroom aids, scooters, porch elevators, walkers, canes, barrier-free lifts, vehicle modifications (turning automotive seating) and other similar products.
