Skilled Nursing

Shenandoah Valley Westminster Canterbury (SVWC) provides 24-hour licensed skilled nursing care. There are 51 private rooms at the Health Care Center.



The staff includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapist, Occupational therapists, and CTRs. Services available include transportation to social, recreational, and medical appointments; three meals a day in the Health Care Center; 24-hour security staff and emergency systems; weekly housekeeping; weekly laundering and changing bed and bath linen; maintenance; lighted parking; grounds-keeping; postal services; on-site beauty and barber shop; on-site health center. 

SVWC is a not-for-profit, church-related continuing care retirement community or LifePlan community that is committed to enabling residents to live their lives and enjoy with dignity the years given them. SVWC serves retirement-aged people of all denominations and provides a retirement community with quality services available, from independent living to complete on-site health care.
