Who We Are
Borromeo Housing, Inc. (BHI) provides a bridge for women and their families who are facing homelessness and need intensive services and training to strengthen their capacity to be self-sufficient. We teach the way out of homelessness to independent living.
BHI's signature program is to empower young, single mothers through education, counseling and support while they are living in the safe home.
During these program years, trained staff members help residents grow into independent individuals by teaching them properly to care for their children, employ basic life skills and plan for the future. To fortify self-sufficiency, BHI's program helps resident obtain a better education, vocational certifications, and job training.
