Who We Are
The Virginian is a full service continuing care retirement community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, rehabilitation, Enhanced Assisted Living and Long Term Care.
Residents live in one or two bedroom apartments. Provides licensed nursing care on a temporary or long-term basis. Other services include two meals daily, bi-weekly housekeeping and a full and varied activity program. Offers rehabilitation services, bank, beauty/barber shop, free delivery for prescriptions, library, convenience/grocery store, supportive medical services, full service computer center, and closed circuit television with resident produced programming on premises.
Support groups available. Wellness Center with Board Certified physician affiliation, including ophthalmologist, podiatrist, cardiologist and dentist. Transportation is provided to social and recreational appointments. Must meet state admission criteria. Psychiatrist, psychologist, massage therapist, and optometrist all on site. Special charges apply for medication administration for independent residents. There is a fellowship fund in existence. Call to request a complete packet of information including fees and admission procedures. Brochures and tours available upon request. A waiting list is possible.
Seniors do not have to be a resident to take advantage of assisted living or nursing home facilities. There are 225 independent units; 50 assisted living and 100 health care (31 of which are Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
