Public Housing

The Wytheville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (WRHA) offers numerous housing opportunities for individuals and families.  Apartments range from 1 bedroom up to 5 bedrooms. The Housing Choice Voucher Program offers rental properties through private landlords.  Handicap accessible apartments are also available.



A waiting list is maintained for the  housing programs according to Federal housing laws. The online application is an easy, step-by-step way to get your name on our waiting lists.  You must complete the entire application for the application to be valid.  Select the appropriate box for the program(s) that you are interested in.  At the end of the application, you will print a certification and authorization for release of information, which you must sign and mail within ten (10) business days.



The housing properties include Hedgefield, Shady Pine, Garden View, Autumn Lane, Village Square, Pleasant Haven, Crab Apple Square, Blue Spring Apartments and Harmony Apartments.  Find pictures and information about the properties on the website.
