Who We Are
Shalom Apartments are located at 702-716 Federal Street available to low income families and individuals. The complex consist of 46 units, including one, two, and three bedroom apartments, located in five buildings on a city block of almost two acres in the very heart of Lynchburg's Old Town area. The apartments are within easy walking distance of churches , schools, city bus transportation, and downtown shopping and have an on site laundry facility for the convenience of our residents.
Five accessible units complying with Section 504 of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are in the complex. Three of these are one-bedroom units and two are two-bedroom units. These units have lower cabinets, accessible kitchen appliances, and bathrooms with roll-in showers. A new accessible on-site laundry is available for the residents living in the ADA units.
