Who We Are
The Children's Mental Health Resource Center (CMHRC) offers resources for families of children with mental, emotional or behavioral health needs.
Family navigators at the CMHRC help providers and families understand the mental health options available for children and assist them in finding therapists, psychiatrists or other appropriate services. Our model uses the valuable experiences of families who have navigated the mental health system, providing one-on-one support and referral assistance to families across Virginia.
Families can call directly to speak to a family navigator, free of charge. We also provide a service for Richmond area primary care providers who refer families in need of support and assistance.
