Who We Are
Augusta Health Care offers skilled nursing services. Registered nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses provide all nursing services ordered by the attending physician. Such services may include wound care, medication, diet and disease monitoring, parental and enteral nutrition, IV antibiotics, hydration therapy, IV site care and other physician ordered IV therapies.
Under the nurses' supervision, families are instructed in how to follow the physician's orders to obtain the maximum health care for the patient. Almost any individual under a physician's care is eligible for home health care. These individuals may include: the frail and elderly; cardiac patients; stroke patients; patients with chronic illness; the handicapped; the patient with a fracture; the terminally ill; and the convalescing.
